You wait for the weekend or the summer to have fun. You go through your daily routine and crave for the freedom that comes later. Soon there will be no later, no tomorrows, no summers to look forward to. Time never goes back or waits yet you long for the future that has yet to happen and skip out on the present that you could experience. So what is the point of wasting everyday doing something you don’t like. There are so many societal rules that we stick to and believe is right. We must get a good job. We must go to school and get an education. After you make all this money, then you can enjoy life and have fun because only then are you set free from the constant fear of not being able to “live comfortably”? You’re suppose to have fun doing your job/what you like, yet it’s so hard to find that interest and even a job that I could do. Why is surviving and living two different things?
